Type—IIIWedge
Type-III replaces formed helix with a self-locking wedge. No forming on site, no per-diameter helix inventory, and a clamp that releases rather than crushes when it is overloaded. Bodies are UV-resistant PBT or polyamide with glass fibre, brackets are gravity die-cast aluminium, fixing is by stainless strap. Clause 14.2 of the GR invites purchasers to run a field trial before bulk procurement.
