Dead-End Clamp
01 — Overview
- Code
- SYN-T3-DEC
- Type
- Type-III — Wedge type
- Drawing
- TEC GR 13.6
A thermoplastic body holding two self-adjusting wedges that grip harder as the span pulls. The stainless bail is flexible and can be opened to pass through a ring bracket or a cross-arm hole. Above its rated load the clamp starts to break and releases the cable — the failure mode is deliberate, because a clamp that holds past the cable's own strength destroys the cable instead.

04 — Why it's built this way
- No losable part — nothing to drop from the top of a pole
- Bail opens to thread through a ring bracket or cross-arm hole
- 300 mm minimum from saddle to cable, holding the bend radius
- Climatic ageing and corrosion tested to NF EN 50483-6
